Her mother tells her all about Freddy: he had killed some children, and their parents decided to do justice with their own hands burning him until his death.The scene when Nancy is in the bath and the claw of Freddy suddenly appears between her legs is worth seeing. Great scene: Krueger transforms himself in a giant and turns a boy into a marionette, picking the flesh off his muscles. We get to know here that Freddy' mother was a nun. The director Wes Craven is back ten years later, in this metalanguage movie that plays with the characters of the original film. Krueger now comes to torment the actress Heather Langenkamp (interpreting herself) and her family. The film brings a much more violent Freddy, if compared to the one created by the director on his first film.
